# The catalogue, as JSON

Every space, operator, city and price median we publish is readable over HTTP. No key, no sign-up form, no sales call — a base URL and a machine-readable description of everything it answers.

## What this is

### Reads need no credentials

Every GET endpoint answers without a key, a token or an account. There is nothing to apply for and no quota to negotiate.

### Described, not guessed

The whole surface is published as an OpenAPI 3.1 document generated from the same contract the gateway validates against, so the description cannot drift from the behaviour.

### Prices released as open data

The per-city price index is published under CC BY 4.0 as JSON and CSV. Reuse the figures anywhere with credit — no permission to request, nothing to sign.

### The shape does not move under you

The /v1 surface is append-only. Fields and endpoints get added; nothing already published is renamed, retyped or withdrawn, and a contract test enforces it on every change.

## Endpoints

All reads are GET and return JSON. The catalogue endpoints require a locale of en, de or es.

Method

Path

What it returns

GET

/v1/properties

Paginated listing cards, filterable by city, zone, operator, amenities and price.

GET

/v1/properties/{slug}

Full detail for one space: address, capacity, amenities, pricing options and editorial copy.

GET

/v1/properties/map

A light projection of the whole matching set, for plotting markers.

GET

/v1/market/rates

Median, minimum and maximum monthly price per city, broken down by option type.

GET

/v1/rankings

A best-of ranking within one city. The score is relative to that city, never across cities.

GET

/v1/places/{kind}/{slug}

Country, city or zone hub: editorial copy, FAQs and computed statistics.

GET

/v1/operators/{slug}

Operator brand hub: editorial copy, FAQs and computed statistics.

GET

/v1/geo/bootstrap

The countries, cities and zones index. Small and long-lived — fetch it once and cache it.

GET

/v1/facets

Filter options with contextual counts for the current query.

GET

/v1/search/suggest

Autocomplete across cities, zones, operators and spaces.

GET

/v1/health

Liveness probe. Reports the deployed build. Exempt from the rate limit.

## The price index is separate, and open

Alongside the catalogue we publish a per-city price index: the median, average, minimum and maximum monthly price per desk, the sample size, and a breakdown by product type. A city is only published at a sample of five or more; thinner cities come back flagged rather than quietly averaged. It is released under CC BY 4.0 and served straight from this site.

## Limits, and what this API is not

- Reads are limited to 120 requests per minute per IP. The response carries standard RateLimit headers, so you can back off on what the server actually reports rather than on a guess.

- Cross-origin requests are restricted to our own domains. This is a server-to-server API: call it from your backend, not from a visitor's browser.

- The catalogue endpoints require a locale of en, de or es. There is no implicit default, on purpose — a silently chosen language is a silently wrong answer.

- Prices are what operators publish, not quotes we negotiated, and availability is not real time. Do not present a figure from this API as a booking price.

- The write endpoints are for our own enquiry forms and are protected accordingly. There is no public write access, and none is planned.
