## Getting started

Three steps, and nothing to set up.

1

### Pin the icon

Open your browser's extensions menu (the puzzle-piece icon next to the address bar) and pin CoworkingView so it stays one click away.

2

### Open a stay, an office listing or a place

An Airbnb or Booking.com stay, an office to let on ImmoScout24, Idealista or Rightmove, or a place on Google Maps. Where we list spaces nearby, a small pill appears in the bottom corner.

3

### Click the pill, or the icon

The side panel opens with the workspaces near that place: photos, prices from, ratings and distance. On any other page, click the icon and it reads the address from the page.

## See it in action

Real screens from the extension, with prices from our catalogue on the day they were taken.

    ### Next to your stay

A 29-night stay in Berlin: what a desk nearby costs for the month, and the spaces within walking distance.

    ### The place is on CoworkingView

Select a place on Google Maps and, if it is one of our spaces, its prices and photos are one click away.

- ![The saved list in the side panel with three spaces and the buttons to ask all of them for prices and to copy a share link.](https://coworkingview.com/_next/image?url=%2Fimages%2Fchrome-extension%2Fen-saved.webp&w=1920&q=75)

    ### One list, ask all at once

Save spaces from any site, share the list with your team and ask them all for prices together.

## What it does

One job: showing you where you could work near the place you're looking at.

### Next to your stay

On Airbnb, Booking.com, HousingAnywhere and Spotahome, a pill reads "N workspaces within 3 km · from €X/mo". It only appears when we list spaces nearby.

### What a desk costs for your stay

For stays of 7 nights or more with dates chosen, it shows what a desk would cost for that stay, from the median day pass or monthly flexible desk, and how many spaces that median comes from.

### The flexible alternative to a lease

On office-to-let listings it puts the listing's own m² and rent next to an estimate for fixed desks for the same team (about 12 m² per person, and you can change the headcount), with the sample size behind the figure and what a lease price usually leaves out.

### Free quotes for a flexible office

From an office listing, one button opens our enquiry form with the team size already filled in. You review it and send it yourself; nothing is sent before that.

### On Google Maps

When the place you select is one of the spaces we list, it tells you, with prices and a link to check availability. Otherwise it lists the workspaces near the pin.

### On any other page

Click the icon and it reads the page's standard location data (schema.org coordinates, geo tags, map links). Or select an address, right-click and choose "Find workspaces near …".

### A side panel to search and compare

Search cities, districts and spaces. Each result shows a photo, the price from, the rating, the distance, a "Check availability" link and a button to save it.

### A saved list that watches prices

Your saved spaces stay on your device. Ask all of them for prices in one go, copy a link to share the list with your team, and get a notification when a saved space's starting price changes.

### Straight from the address bar

Type cw, a space, then a city or a space name, and jump straight to the results.

## Where it works on its own

On these sites the pill appears by itself, and only when there are spaces nearby. You can hide it on any site with one click. Everywhere else it waits for you to click the icon.

## Privacy policy for the extension

This is the privacy policy of the CoworkingView browser extension, in full. It is short because the extension collects very little.

In short

- No account and no sign-in.
- No analytics or tracking code inside the extension, and no ads.
- We don't sell data, and the extension sends no personal data of its own.

### What it reads

- On the supported sites listed above, the page it is shown on: its location data and, on office listings, the headline, floor area and rent. It reads these on those sites automatically, and only there.
- On any other site, only the page you are on, and only when you click the extension's icon or use its right-click menu.
- Everything it reads stays in your browser. Page content is never sent anywhere.

### What it sends, and to whom

- Only to our own public API at api.coworkingview.com: the location (coordinates rounded to about 11 metres, or a place name) and any search text you type or select, together with the interface language. That is what it needs to fetch the spaces nearby and the city's price medians.
- Once a day, the identifiers of the spaces you have saved, to check their public "from" price.
- Never page content, never your browsing history, never personal data.
- Like any connection on the web, each request carries your IP address. Our API uses it only in memory, to count requests per minute for its rate limit; it does not write it, the coordinates or the search text to its logs. Requests reach our server through Cloudflare, which delivers all of coworkingview.com.

### What it keeps, on your device only

- Your saved list.
- The sites where you chose to hide the pill.
- A click counter, used once to ask whether you'd like to rate the extension.
- A short-lived cache of results, cleared when the browser closes.
- None of this leaves your device, and removing the extension deletes it.

### When you open coworkingview.com

Links the extension opens to coworkingview.com carry utm parameters (utm\_source=chrome\_extension) so we can see which features are useful. The enquiry form opens pre-filled with the team size and a short note, and nothing is sent until you submit it yourself. Once you are on coworkingview.com, the site's own privacy policy and cookie consent apply.
