CREC París-Urgell is CREC Coworking's newest site in Barcelona, on Carrer de París in the Eixample district, close to Hospital Clínic, combining recently refurbished private offices with a coworking floor rather than choosing between the two formats the way some of the operator's other addresses do. It opened after CREC's other Eixample and Gràcia locations, and the refurbishment shows in details that older CREC sites don't all share, from the layout of the shared areas to the condition of the fittings throughout the building.

Members here have access to two meeting rooms, a kitchen area, a dedicated relax zone and bathrooms, on top of the open coworking floor and the private offices themselves, and the whole site is reachable around the clock, seven days a week. That relax zone in particular sets Paris-Urgell apart from most CREC addresses, which tend to fold a sofa or a corner into the coworking floor rather than give it a room of its own — a small detail, but one that reflects a site designed with a specific brief rather than retrofitted into an older building.

Six private offices cover teams from two people up to ten: Oficina 2 personas from EUR 400 a month, Oficina 4 personas from EUR 800, Oficina 5 personas from EUR 1,150, Oficina 6 personas from EUR 1,250, Oficina 8 personas from EUR 1,300 and Oficina 10 personas from EUR 1,600. For people who want a desk instead of a private office, CREC runs its standard Barcelona coworking plans here: FLEX at EUR 160 a month plus VAT, which can be shared between several people and used at any CREC location in the city, and FIX at EUR 175 a month plus VAT, a personalised desk reserved for one person. Two prepaid bonos are also available for occasional use rather than a monthly commitment — ten days for EUR 135 plus VAT and twenty days for EUR 200 plus VAT — both valid for a year from the date of purchase rather than priced by the day.

Being a short walk from Hospital Clínic puts Paris-Urgell within reach of one of Barcelona's busiest medical and research clusters, which matters for tenants whose clients, collaborators or suppliers are based around the hospital rather than in the more commercial stretches of Eixample further east. Combined with the recent refurbishment and the choice between desks and private rooms, that makes it a reasonable option for a small team weighing up several Eixample addresses at once rather than one built purely around price.
