# ExpresHub Coworking Valencia

ExpresHub occupies a single open floor at Calle Alcalde Cano Coloma 4, in the Aiora neighbourhood of Camins al Grau, the part of Valencia where the grid of the modern city starts to lean towards the sea. It is the kind of address that makes sense the moment you arrive by metro: the Marítim-Serrería station, on lines 5 and 7, is about a hundred metres from the door, and line 5 continues straight to the airport. That makes ExpresHub one of the easiest coworking spaces in the city to reach on your first day in Valencia, suitcase or not.

Inside, the room is bright and generous. A wall of floor-to-ceiling windows runs along the open floor, rows of light-wood and white desks are broken up by planters and low greenery, and an installation of orange and grey hexagonal panels on the end wall gives the space its character and a splash of the brand's colour. Along one side sits a run of glass-walled meeting rooms, so you can see at a glance which ones are free. Above the standing desks hangs a row of clocks set to different time zones, which says a fair amount about who works here: people with colleagues and clients in other countries, keeping one eye on when the next call starts.

The desks themselves are a reason to come. ExpresHub works with stand-up desks, so you can raise yours and work standing for part of the day instead of spending eight hours in the same position, and each desk row has its own power block so nobody has to hunt for a socket. Felt divider panels between facing desks give a little visual privacy without closing the room off. The connection is the headline: WiFi 7 over a fibre line rated up to ten gigabits per second, which comfortably handles back-to-back video calls, large file transfers and anything else a remote team throws at it.

When a conversation needs privacy, there are soundproof call booths for one person and the glazed meeting rooms for groups, bookable by the hour. Printing, copying and scanning are available whenever you need them, the climate is controlled all year round, and a staffed reception receives parcels and handles the small practical jobs that otherwise take over a morning. The team speaks English, German, French, Chinese, Russian and Spanish, which turns the usual first-week questions into a two-minute conversation.

The rest of the floor is designed for the hours between tasks. The kitchen corner has a fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker, a kettle and filtered osmosis water; tea and coffee are free, and there is a dining area for lunch away from the keyboard. A lounge with armchairs makes room for an informal chat, and a quieter corner with two recliners and a massage chair is there for the ten minutes when you need to switch off. There is also a shower, which makes cycling in, or coming straight from a morning swim, perfectly practical.

Access is sold with unusual flexibility. The shortest booking is a single hour; after that come the day pass, a week, a bundle of ten days, a half-day monthly plan, a monthly hot desk that includes a weekly allowance of meeting-room time, and a fixed desk kept for you all month. ExpresHub is open Monday to Friday from eight in the morning to eight in the evening, with the reception staffed from ten.

The neighbourhood is part of the appeal. The Mercat del Cabanyal is under a kilometre away, La Marina de València and the Veles e Vents building a little over one, the sand of Las Arenas beach about one point three, and the City of Arts and Sciences around one and a half. You can work a full day, walk to the old fishermen's quarter of El Cabanyal for dinner and be on the beach before the light goes. It is a natural base for freelancers, digital nomads and remote employees settling into Valencia, and for small teams who want a modern, well-connected room on the sea side of the city.
