# Innovation Campus Málaga Terrace

Málaga Terrace is the seaside half of Innovation Campus, and it is built the other way round from its sister house: the working floors are stacked in the upper levels of a building on Calle Puerto, and the thing everybody comes for sits on the roof above them. The rooftop is laid with lawn-effect turf, shaded by a timber pergola and cream sail shades, and anchored by a bar counter tiled in the operator's red, black and white. Sun loungers face the Gibralfaro hillside on one side and the rooftops of La Malagueta on the other, bistro tables fill in between, and a screen comes out for talks.

The address is Calle Puerto 14, in La Malagueta, the quarter where Málaga's old town stops being old and becomes a beach. The bullring is round the corner, La Malagueta beach begins a couple of streets away, and the Muelle Uno promenade, the port and the coloured glass cube of the Centre Pompidou are a short walk west. The Alcazaba, the Roman theatre and the centre proper are within a quarter of an hour on foot, which is also roughly the distance to the operator's other building. Parking is the one thing the building does not provide: the operator's published answer is that there is public parking nearby, and that is what it means.

Inside, the working floors read as a single consistent design rather than a set of rooms that happened. Grey-veined marble and pale timber underfoot, white ceilings crossed by black track lighting, full-height windows with dark curtains onto the street and the hill, mesh task chairs at long dark-timber benches, and a deep-red wall that reappears from floor to floor carrying the brand. The operator calls the open-plan area its creative zone, and the photographs bear that out: a long bench for a team, a lounge chair and a rug at one end, and plants where a partition would otherwise be.

Two training rooms are published here, both forty-two square metres and both for up to thirty people, which is an unusual thing to be able to say twice in one building. The one on the fifth floor has twenty-nine chairs, a projector, a whiteboard, a microphone and a speaker, and the operator marks it for training days, workshops, corporate events and conferences, with catering available and events expressly allowed. The one on the fourth floor has twenty chairs and swaps the projector for a television, keeping the microphone, whiteboard and speaker. A soundproofed phone booth completes the set, published with video conferencing, a noise-cancelling microphone and USB-C charging.

The private offices here run larger than at the historic-centre house. The small one takes up to five people and is sold furnished, with access to the common areas and the sea a few minutes away; the medium one takes up to seven and is published with a partial sea view; and the large one takes up to twenty-five, which is the biggest single room the operator sells anywhere. All of them come with the standard office package — reception for your calls and visitors, daily cleaning, keyless access around the clock, the booking app, on-site support and access to the operator's other locations — on a monthly rolling contract.

Then there is the roof as a product in its own right, which is what most distinguishes this listing from its sister. It is sold whole or half: the full terrace is exclusive use of the entire roof for up to a hundred people with full bar service, custom catering, flexible seating and a sound system, and the half terrace is a private area for up to forty with bar service and catering available. Both are published with sea and city views, and the operator's own photographs show the roof doing all three of its jobs — a morning yoga session on the turf, an afternoon talk in front of a screen, and an evening reception with the lights on under the pergola.

Everything else is the network rather than the building. The membership that opens this door opens the patio house too, the same three monthly tiers and three short stays apply at both, and the reception, the kitchen, the free coffee and tea, the print quota and the locker come with the plan. What is particular here is the cheaper of the operator's two company addresses, and a roof.
