# LIVINK Coworking – Príncipe Pío, Madrid

LIVINK Coworking treats its floor on Calle de Irún 23 like a living room rather than an office park, and that line from the operator's own site is not marketing gloss so much as an operating instruction. Silence is the house rule across the shared floor: no phone or video calls at the desk, ever, and members who need to talk step into a soundproof booth, the dining area or outside. Membership is deliberately capped rather than maximised, which keeps the floor a size where that rule actually holds instead of collapsing under headcount, and there is no ambient music piped over the desks to cover for the noise a busier space would otherwise make.

Six soundproof booths handle the calls the desks are not allowed to: four MEAVO cabins and two from Office Acoustics, included at no cost on any monthly plan and available to day-pass holders at half price. Two meeting rooms, Sala A and Sala B, each seat up to ten for a pitch or a full team stand-up, and Fix Desk members book either one with no hourly limit and no extra charge; Flex members and outside bookers pay by the hour, €22 for Sala A or Sala B. A separate soundproof group booth for up to four suits something smaller — a one-to-one interview or a client call nobody else needs to overhear — and costs €14 an hour for anyone who books it. Two more one-person booths, a closed Workspace cabin at €6 an hour and a glass-walled Haven booth at €8, drop to €3 for day-pass holders.

The floor is open-plan by choice: there is exactly one private office, a lockable room for four, and it is currently fully booked with a waitlist rather than a public rate, with contracts on it typically starting at three months once a slot opens. That makes LIVINK a poor fit for a team of eight hunting a closed door on short notice, and the no-calls-at-the-desk rule makes it an equally poor fit for a sales team that lives on the phone all day; both would spend more time working around the house rules than inside them. It suits a solo founder, a small remote team or an agency that wants real focus, with a client call five metres away rather than at the next desk.

The desk ladder runs from Flex, billed one to four days a week at €84,70, €133,10, €175,45 or €199,65 a month, up to a Fix Desk at €217,80 with a dedicated spot, unlimited meeting-room hours and a registered fiscal address for the member's business bundled in. Day passes cost €22 for a full day or €17 for a half-day shift, and a 10-pack valid for six months comes to €181,50, a better deal for someone dropping in a few times a month than for someone tied to a fixed weekly rhythm. None of the plans ask for a deposit or a minimum term, and monthly memberships cancel with notice before the next billing date rather than mid-contract; payment runs by card, transfer or crypto, charged by SEPA direct debit on the first for anyone on a recurring plan. A standalone virtual office, for the Madrid address and mail handling without a desk, runs €42,35 a month or €30,25 paid annually.

Beyond the desks, the floor holds a kitchen with coffee, tea and milk for members, a library, and a dining room that doubles as an event space for 20 to 30 people — workshops, product shoots and small talks have all run there. Internet comes over Movistar fibre, rated at 1 Gbps into the building with most desks wired by Ethernet rather than left to compete for WiFi. LIVINK describes its community as mostly digital — e-commerce, early-stage startups, software and development agencies — and international, run largely in English, which shapes the floor as much as the quiet rule does.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 23:00; Saturday and Sunday run on request only, and even Fix Desk members are granted weekend or bank-holiday access as a favour rather than a guarantee, so anyone who needs a Sunday afternoon should ask before signing rather than after. There is no on-site car park — parking on Paseo del Rey and Calle de la Rosaleda, both around 100 metres away, sits in Madrid's SER Larga Estancia zone, paid by the hour or day through the Madrid Movilidad 360 app or the street meter, not a substitute for a garage. The building, in the Argüelles district of Moncloa-Aravaca, is about three minutes on foot from Príncipe Pío, where Metro lines 6 and 10 meet the Ramal shuttle to Ópera and the Cercanías regional trains, putting Sol, Atocha and the airport within a short, direct ride, while Madrid Río, Parque del Oeste, the Templo de Debod and Plaza de España are all close enough for a lunchtime walk.
