# Mindspace Business District

Pipera is where Bucharest does business in the north, and this address puts you right at the centre of it. Mindspace Business District occupies Globalworth Campus A on Bulevardul Dimitrie Pompeiu, in Sector 2, and the Pipera metro station on line M2 is steps from the entrance. For a team whose people arrive from different corners of the city, that single fact settles the daily question of how to get in: take the M2, step out, and you are at the door without a taxi, a parking hunt or a long walk across a campus.

The same line carries you the other way into the heart of Bucharest, and the airport at Otopeni is a short ride from the district, which suits visiting colleagues and clients who fly in for a day. Pipera has grown over the years into the capital's northern office district, a place of glass buildings, corporate campuses and lunch spots filled with people from the neighbouring companies. Being inside one of those campuses means your meetings, your coffee and your desk all sit in the same compound, with no commute between them.

Inside, the layout is generous. The centre spreads over two floors of 2,223 square metres each, with 360 workstations on every floor, so there is room for freelancers, start-ups and the local teams of international companies to share the building without crowding one another. Two large lounges of around 250 square metres each anchor the social side, with a lunch area and a serviced private kitchen, and an additional coworking area, a small lounge for relaxing and a kitchenette with a coffee and tea point fill in the rest. A printer corner with stationery keeps the everyday paperwork simple.

The look is far from a corporate floor. Mindspace says it sourced furniture at flea markets and worked with local artists, and you can see it in the photographs: a wall of bookshelves behind armchairs by the windows, chesterfield sofas under large framed prints, teal ottomans, a pointing-hand mural, hanging plants over a red sofa and black-and-white tiles underfoot. The Mindspace Member Café, with its open shelving and high stools, is the natural place to start the morning, and the building also offers an event space and parking for members who arrive by car.

For a team that needs its own door, private offices are available for 23, 15, 11, 9, 6 and 5 workstations, and the monthly price for them is on request, since every office is quoted to the team that will use it. When a closed room is needed for a day instead of a lease, the day offices take groups from 6 up to 23. Twelve private meeting rooms for 6 to 16 people, some with long wooden tables, botanical murals or wall screens, cover everything from a client pitch to a workshop, and twelve phone booths give everyone a quiet corner for calls.

The working environment is built to be comfortable for a full day. Ceilings are at least 2.5 metres high, windows let in plenty of natural light, desks adjust in height and the acoustics have been improved. Members have 24/7 access, IT services, business printers, cleaning, a soda and coffee bar, a muesli and fruit bar, weekly events, bike parking and underground parking, all handled through the Mindspace app. Meeting-room credits and access to Mindspace locations worldwide come with the right plans, across a network of more than 40 locations in 20 cities.

Larger companies can also ask Mindspace to design and run a tailor-made managed office from 200 square metres. Between the hot desks, the private offices and the managed option, the building suits a freelancer renting a day, a founding team of five and a department of twenty-three, and it lets a company move from one to the next without changing address. If your week revolves around Pipera, the metro and the northern business district, this is the coworking centre built for it.
