# Mindspace Eurotheum

The Eurotheum is one of the few towers in Frankfurt's financial district that people actually live in. It went up on Neue Mainzer Straße at the end of the nineties as a deliberate mix — offices in the lower two-thirds, apartments above — at a time when the Bankenviertel emptied out completely at six o'clock every evening. Mindspace occupies office floors in it, which means the working day here happens inside a tower with the skyline on three sides and a genuine after-hours population above.

What that gives you, practically, is windows. The lounge runs along the glazing with seating facing out; the coworking desks sit against the same window line; and the meeting rooms and the bar floor look over the same view. On a clear day you are looking across the Taunusanlage to the Commerzbank and Messeturm towers and out towards the Taunus hills. There is a library area with a bicycle parked in it, phone booths, printers and IT support, a coffee and soda bar, and lounge areas away from the desks. Dogs are welcome, and the community programme runs weekly.

The address is Neue Mainzer Straße 66-68, which is the middle of the Bankenviertel in the strictest sense: the ECB's former tower, the Commerzbank headquarters, the Deutsche Bank twin towers and the Stock Exchange are all inside a ten-minute walk. Taunusanlage station is about three minutes away and puts every S-Bahn line in the region at your feet, including the direct run to Frankfurt Airport in around eleven minutes — which for a workspace this central is close to the practical maximum of convenience. Willy-Brandt-Platz, with the U1 to U5 and U8, is about six minutes; Hauptwache and the Zeil shopping street are eight; and the Hauptbahnhof is a quarter of an hour on foot or one stop by train.

For a business whose clients are banks, funds, law firms or consultancies, that transport position is the whole argument. A meeting here can include someone who landed at the airport forty minutes earlier without anyone having to organise a car.

Mindspace sells four things from this building. A day pass buys a seat for one working day — a sensible product in a city where a large share of the working population is here for a day at a time. All Access opens the whole network worldwide, which in Frankfurt is more relevant than in most cities given how much of the local economy travels. Meeting rooms book by the hour. And a private day office holds three to six people behind a closed door, for exactly the days you need it.

Two practical notes. There is no published event-space rate at the Eurotheum — the bar floor is used for gatherings, but an event is arranged directly rather than booked online. And there is no roof terrace: the outdoor space that the Berlin and Munich buildings offer is not part of this one. What you get instead is height and glass, which in the Bankenviertel is the local equivalent.

For a longer private-office term, Mindspace quotes on request rather than publishing a monthly rate, as they do everywhere in Germany. If a fixed monthly figure is what your approval process needs, ask for it at the start.

This building suits consultancies, financial-services teams, legal and advisory firms, and anyone whose work involves clients arriving by plane or by ICE and expecting an address that signals the same seriousness they do. It is the building for a team that wants to be in the tower itself: height, glass and the Bankenviertel outside the window.
