# Mindspace Grünstraße

Light is the first thing anyone notices here, and it is listed as a feature of the building rather than a happy accident. Mindspace Grünstraße occupies the third floor of Düwell's — the design and lifestyle house on Grünstraße that most of Düsseldorf still calls by its former name, Stilwerk — and the floor was built for showrooms, which means deep glazing, high ceilings and daylight reaching the middle of the plan instead of stopping at the window line.

That inheritance shapes how the space is used. The working floor has desks set under large abstract canvases, the coffee bar is staffed and sits where people naturally stop, and the lounge is a set of armchairs around a low table rather than a row of benches. One meeting room is finished with framed prints and a long table; another room gets dressed with linen and glassware for dinners. The rest is the practical layer: wifi, phone booths, lounge areas, bike parking, weekly community and professional events, and access around the clock rather than only during reception hours. Dogs are welcome.

Being inside a design house is not just an address quirk. The ground floors below are furniture, kitchen and interior showrooms, which makes the building itself a reason clients agree to come to you — and gives you somewhere genuinely interesting to walk a visitor through between a meeting and lunch.

The location is Stadtmitte, and specifically the part of it that matters commercially. Königsallee — the Kö, Düsseldorf's luxury retail boulevard and the address that anchors the city's professional-services district — is a short walk away, and the Steinstraße/Königsallee station on the Wehrhahn-Linie is under two hundred metres from the door, putting the U71 through U78 within a couple of minutes. Benrather Straße is five minutes, Heinrich-Heine-Allee — the city's main U-Bahn interchange — is about seven, and the Hauptbahnhof is a quarter of an hour on foot or a few minutes by train. The Altstadt, with its brewery pubs, starts just north-west of Heinrich-Heine-Allee, and the Rheinuferpromenade is a ten-minute walk.

The building works as well for a regular routine as for the occasional visit. A day pass gives you the showroom light for a single working day, the meeting rooms suit recurring client sessions as much as one-off ones, and the private day office takes two to six people behind a closed door.

The full set is sold here: day passes, the network-wide All Access membership, meeting rooms by the hour, a private day office, and an event space by the hour that gets used for dinners and receptions as much as for presentations. For a longer private-office term, Mindspace quotes on request rather than publishing a monthly rate, as they do throughout Germany.

Two things this building does not have: there is no roof terrace, and no on-site gym. The outdoor space is the Rheinuferpromenade ten minutes away rather than anything attached to the building.

It suits agencies, consultancies, design and product teams, and anyone selling to the companies clustered around the Kö — and it suits a business that wants a central Düsseldorf address with a design house around it.

One detail about the third floor worth knowing before a first visit: the entrance is through the design house itself, so you arrive past showroom windows rather than through a lobby with a security desk. It reads as friendlier than a tower entrance and slightly less obvious if you have never been — allow an extra two minutes the first time, and tell a first-time visitor which building to look for rather than only the street number.
