# Signature Cobalt

Signature Cobalt is the premium-label option among the Cardiff centres, set in the building known as The Embassy at 389 Newport Road, CF24 1TP, in the Roath area east of the city centre. Where the Regus centres sell reliability, Signature sells a more considered setting, and the operator describes ready-to-use workspaces, shared kitchens with barista-style coffee, open-plan offices, private suites and spacious coworking areas, cleaned and maintained by an on-site support team.

Newport Road is one of Cardiff's main arteries. It runs out of the centre toward the east and links to the A48 and the A4232 ring road, from which the M4 gives a straight run to London and to Newport, about 16 km away. Cardiff Airport lies roughly 25 km away, so a visiting colleague can land, drive in and be at a desk in a reasonable time. For anyone based on this side of the city, the address avoids a trip through the city centre, and the operator also notes that you can catch a train from Cardiff Central to meet clients.

The area around the building is unlike the downtown core. Roath is a lively residential and student-influenced district, and the nearby City Road is known for its restaurants and independent food shops, which the operator suggests for team lunches. If you need an address next to the castle or Cardiff Bay, you should look elsewhere. If you want a stylish building on a main road with good restaurants nearby, it is a strong option.

For a change of pace, Roath Park and its lake lie a short drive to the north of the building, with a memorial lighthouse that recalls Captain Scott's departure from Cardiff on the Terra Nova expedition in 1910. A walk there is a favourite lunch-break choice for local teams, and it gives visiting clients something to see in a city that most people associate with its stadium. The combination of a stylish workspace, a lively food street and a large park is the real selling point of the Roath location, and it is something you can judge for yourself on a half-day visit. Ask the centre how its suites are arranged, how the shared kitchens work and what the on-site team handles, so you can compare the service level with a standard Regus floor. A half-day trial often settles the question better than a brochure.
