# Signature Torre Velasca

The Torre Velasca is one of the most recognisable silhouettes in Milan. Designed by the BBPR studio and finished in 1958, the 26-storey tower flares out towards the top like the great medieval towers of Lombardy, and it has come to symbolise the city's post-war modernism. It stands in Piazza Velasca, a few hundred metres south of the Duomo,. At 106 metres it is also visible from many parts of the city, which makes giving directions to a courier easy.

The Signature by Regus centre occupies the seventh, eighth and ninth floors, with premium private offices, coworking areas and meeting rooms, plus a refined coffee area and a curated library corner. The centre lists a lounge area and bookable meeting rooms.

The Missori station of the yellow M3 line is at the foot of the tower, so the metro is a lift ride away from the office, and the Duomo is one stop on the M3 or an easy walk. The operator also notes that Linate Airport is reached by car or by the new blue M4 line, which makes the tower convenient for international visitors. Trams and buses cross the area. The upper volume of the tower projects beyond the lower floors in the manner of medieval towers, which is why it reads as a landmark from the Duomo terraces.

Beyond the offices, the tower hosts an exclusive environment, in the operator's words: high-end restaurants, a stylish bar-pasticceria, a spa and a swimming pool, and a luxury aparthotel on the top floors. For a company, that means client lunches, evening drinks and visitors' accommodation within the same building. The Giardini della Guastalla and the Ca' Granda are close for a break.

The address suits law firms, private bankers and wealth advisers, luxury and fashion brands, publishing and architecture studios, and the Milan base of an international firm that wants a recognisable landmark on its letterhead. The Signature tier means more attentive service and a more polished setting than a standard centre.

Smaller teams on a tighter budget can compare Regus Largo Richini 6 nearby, and those who want a community floor can look at Spaces Corso Europa 15. The library corner is a small touch that clients tend to remember.

Here is what the building adds to the room itself: a lounge area and bookable meeting rooms. Around it run the group's usual services, namely reception, Wi-Fi, a printer and scanner, a kitchenette, climate control, office supplies, lockers and ergonomic chairs. Signature is the group's premium tier, with a more residential, hospitality-led finish than the standard Regus centres. Expect more attentive service in reception and common areas, reflected in the price band, in exchange for a more discreet and polished setting. The mix is typical for the group, and it is what makes a first month in a new city manageable. Visitors are received at a staffed desk rather than at an intercom, which changes the first impression a client forms of a young company. For a company that is not yet sure of its Milan headcount, that is a lower-risk way to begin than a lease of its own.

A fair way to decide is to request the current offer, book a visit and check how the building handles arrivals, quiet and light. The rate for a private office depends on room size and contract length, and no room is guaranteed available until the operator confirms it. Ask for the lease length, deposit and notice terms in writing before you decide. A second address from our Milan list makes a useful benchmark when the quote arrives. A short call with the operator before the visit usually clarifies which floors and room sizes are actually open.
