# Spaces The Circle 6

You land, you reach the railway station and you are at your desk without crossing the city. That is the proposition of Spaces The Circle 6, a centre inside The Circle, the mixed-use quarter beside Zurich Airport. The complex opened in November 2020 after more than five years of construction, and it combines offices, hotels, a convention centre, restaurants and cultural venues in a single built landscape, a quarter that makes the airport look less like a transit zone and more like a place to work.

The Circle is not a conventional business park. Two Hyatt hotels, the Hyatt Regency and the Hyatt Place, stand in the complex, along with a convention centre run by the hotel operator, and a mix of dining and entertainment. The Spaces centre opened in the summer of 2021 and was announced as one of the largest coworking spaces in Switzerland. For a company that regularly hosts visitors who fly in, the practical effect is that hotel, meeting space and office are within the same quarter.

The airport railway station is close enough that the terminal buildings feel like part of the same block. Trains and buses from the station reach most parts of Switzerland, so clients can come to you just as easily as you can go to them, and a colleague flying in from abroad can reach the centre on foot from the terminal area. Inside, Spaces is the brand built around community. After work, the quarter keeps running: restaurants, bars and event spaces mean that the evening does not have to start with a commute back into the city.

Who is it for? Aviation and logistics companies, travel and hospitality firms, consultancies with frequent flyers, sales teams that cover the whole of Switzerland and the surrounding countries, and the Swiss branch of a foreign company whose staff and visitors fly in. A team that spends half the week in the air gets a base that costs it no extra journey at either end.
