# Velt Studio

Velt Studio is a coworking space in Berlin-Kreuzberg at Urbanstraße 71, in the Graefekiez and right at Hermannplatz. The house has existed since 2015 and occupies about 500 square metres on the first floor of a former factory building. The coworking entrance is in the third courtyard, with the stairs on the left. The U7 and U8 underground lines and several bus lines stop at Hermannplatz. Members have access around the clock, 365 days a year, with their own key. Fast WLAN and LAN are available throughout the studio. A coffee flat rate is part of the deal for everyone working on site, as is the large shared kitchen with a snack machine. Free phone boxes are available for calls and can be booked depending on availability, and a meeting room in the reception room is available to members on site. Flex Foto combines the Flex Desk with one shoot per month in the in-house photo studio. Slim Desk and Best Desk are your own fixed desks with access around the clock. All plans run monthly, the minimum term is one month, and notice is 30 days to the end of the month. Flex 8, by contrast, is a one-off payment without a subscription. Prices are quoted gross.

Those who only need an address can use a virtual office with a business address in Berlin and digital mail forwarding; this offer does not include access to the rooms. There are separate plans for self-employed people and freelancers, for non-profit companies, cooperatives and associations, for companies and for holding structures. That is practical for anyone who runs a business on the move or from home and needs an address in Kreuzberg for contracts, authorities and post.

What sits alongside the coworking in the building is distinctive. In the second courtyard there is a rental photo and video studio of about 75 to 80 square metres with a cyclorama corner, rented in blocks of four hours or by the day, either without lights or with a Basic or Pro shooting set. Members can book use of the photo studio as an extra, as well as shelves and pallet storage. A textile atelier with a sewing workshop is also part of the house, which appeals to creatives, fashion makers and product designers who need a place to make things next to their desk.

The community side is looked after too. Small events take place regularly, along with a shared lunch. Those who want to get to know the studio can use a free trial day or join a free tour. German, English, Italian, French and Spanish are spoken.
