# WeWork Castellana 43

WeWork Castellana 43 is at Paseo de la Castellana 43, in the Colonial building, on the Chamberí stretch of the avenue. WeWork describes it as the brand’s first Madrid location and gives the workspace as seven floors, about 5,455 square metres. It is a managed, staffed house of shared desks, meeting rooms and private offices. The page puts four metro stations within walking distance, names Rubén Darío, Iglesia and Gregorio Marañón, and points to the Museo Sorolla as a short walk when the day needs a change of scene. The member mix it describes runs from executives at established firms to people starting a company, with industry events and workshops as part of the week.

The products follow the same shape across the four Madrid buildings, which makes them easy to compare. A Day Pass covers one day in the shared workspace without a membership. The All Access Plus membership includes one coworking booking per day and three credits a month for meeting rooms and private offices. Meeting rooms are booked by the hour. Private offices run as a monthly or annual membership for teams from one person to more than a hundred, and a company of fifty or more can ask for a full floor. Where a dedicated desk is offered, it is a single desk on flexible terms. Starting rates exclude applicable taxes, and office rates also exclude fees; several offices are quoted individually.

The building’s own list adds parking, bicycle storage, a parent’s room, electric-vehicle charging, an event space and a dog-friendly policy. A dedicated desk for one person is offered on flexible terms, with the rate on request. The published private-office starting rate is for a one-person office. High-speed Wi-Fi, phone booths, printers, a stocked kitchen and the events programme are standard. An outdoor terrace, a wellness room and a barista are not on this building’s list. Mail and package handling comes with the private office and with the dedicated desk.

The gallery shows a black spiral stair dropping into a timber landing with armchairs, a window lounge with a brown sofa and snake plants, and a pale kitchen island with black stools. Another lounge sits in a yellow room with tall windows. The meeting room has a long timber table, globe lights and whiteboards. Outside, the façade is a curved brick-and-glass corner behind plane trees. The listing uses those six frames, workspace first and the street last.

A team is on site Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 and looks after members and visitors during those hours. Day passes and meeting rooms are pay as you go. Private offices run monthly or annually, and where a starting office rate is published it rests on a twelve-month term and can include a promotional offer. WeWork lists extended hours for the building without publishing the clock times, so anyone who plans to work early or late agrees the detail for their product when they book. The same four addresses — Eloy Gonzalo, Castellana 77, Castellana 43 and Goya — are the Madrid buildings listed as open.

It suits someone who wants the Castellana without the tower scale of AZCA, a one-person office with a dedicated-desk alternative, and a team that uses the event space for a workshop and still walks to Sorolla afterwards. Eloy Gonzalo is the quieter Chamberí house a few streets west. Castellana 77 is the large AZCA building. Goya is the Salamanca address with the terrace. The four can be used on the same membership, so a client morning on this stretch of the avenue does not require a second provider in the afternoon.
